Bring Nature In

Fine gardening and sustainable practices are not only compatible, but necessary. Let me help you enjoy a lovely home garden through thoughtful pruning, weeding, planting and soil care,

Maintenance

Your garden can develop into a space you love to spend time in. Plants that thrive under careful care and observation will add to the enjoyment of your outdoor space.

Pruning

Pruning can be a contemplative skill as much as an action skill. As Cass Turnbull, famed Northwest pruning guru, said “First, stare at the plant.”

Pruning was my first love in garden care and nothing is more satisfying than letting a shrub’s natural shape shine or Increasing the bounty of a fruit tree.

Garden Design

Do you get overwhelmed at the nursery with the variety of gorgeous plants? Are you distracted by a sun plant when you are looking to fill a shady spot? Making a plan and choosing the right plant is often a matter of editing. And then taking into account color and texture. Its a process, and it’s fun! I can help you make lovely choices.

What clients have to say…

“Jackie took care of our garden on a monthly basis for the past 2 years and we were thrilled with her professionalism, work ethic, communication, and her expert knowledge about plants, trees, shrubs, and general garden care.

Since we travel frequently and are often away for several months at a time in the winter, we were grateful that she kept our garden looking beautiful. Jackie is friendly, communicative, and reliable. We highly recommend her!”

Debby and Don, Seattle

“Jackie is a real gem. She’s a skilled and hardworking gardener, and has excellent judgement in determining where to focus her efforts each day. She consistently goes above and beyond, is easy to work with, and is a delightfully kind hearted human, too. I’ve been so grateful to be her client for the last two years”.

Sara H, Seattle

‘Jackie’s skills as a gardener and keen listener are wonderful skills.  She has a gentle touch and understands how important it is to work the garden space as a whole.  Her weeding is equally as amazing as well as her plant knowledge.’

Mercedes H, Seattle
